120:1 In my distress I cried unto the LORD, and he heard me. [A song of degrees.] In my distresse I cried vnto the Lord: and hee heard me.
120:2 Deliver my soul, O LORD, from lying lips, and from a deceitful tongue. Deliuer my soule, O Lord, from lying lips: and from a deceitfull tongue.
120:3 What shall be given unto thee? or what shall be done unto thee, thou false tongue? What shall be giuen vnto thee? or what shalbe done vnto thee, thou false tongue?
120:4 Sharp arrows of the mighty, with coals of juniper. Sharpe arrowes of the mightie: with coales of iuniper.
120:5 Woe is me, that I sojourn in Mesech, that I dwell in the tents of Kedar! Woe is me, that I soiourne in Mesech: that I dwell in the tents of Kedar.
120:6 My soul hath long dwelt with him that hateth peace. My soule hath long dwelt with him that hateth peace.
120:7 I am for peace: but when I speak, they are for war. I am for peace: but when I speak, they are for warre.
