| 84:1 | How amiable are thy tabernacles, O LORD of hosts! | [To the chiefe musician vpon Gittith, a Psalme for the sonnes of Korah.] How amiable are thy tabernacles, O Lord of hostes! |
| 84:2 | My soul longeth, yea, even fainteth for the courts of the LORD: my heart and my flesh crieth out for the living God. | My soule longeth, yea euen fainteth for the courts of the Lord: my heart and my flesh cryeth out for the liuing God. |
| 84:3 | Yea, the sparrow hath found an house, and the swallow a nest for herself, where she may lay her young, even thine altars, O LORD of hosts, my King, and my God. | Yea the sparrowe hath found an house, and the swallow a nest for her selfe, where she may lay her young, euen thine altars, O Lord of hostes, my king and my God. |

Who passing through the valley of Baca, make it a well: the raine also filleth the pooles. |

They goe from strength to strength: euery one of them in Zion appeareth before God. |
| 84:8 | O LORD God of hosts, hear my prayer: give ear, O God of Jacob. Selah. | O Lord God of hostes, heare my prayer: giue eare, O God of Iacob. Selah. |
| 84:9 | Behold, O God our shield, and look upon the face of thine anointed. | Behold, O God our shield: and looke vpon the face of thine anointed. |
| 84:10 | For a day in thy courts is better than a thousand. |
For a day in thy courts, is better then a thousand: I had rather be a doore keeper in the house of my God, then to dwell in the tents of wickednesse. |
| 84:11 | For the LORD God is a sun and shield: the LORD will give grace and glory: no good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly. | For the Lord God is a sunne and shield: the Lord will giue grace and glory: no good thing will he withhold from them that walke vprightly. |
| 84:12 | O LORD of hosts, blessed is the man that trusteth in thee. | O Lord of hostes: blessed is the man that trusteth in thee. |
