They praise His name in a dance, With timbrel and harp sing praise to Him. |

The exaltation of God `is' in their throat, And a two-edged sword in their hand. |
| 149:7 | To execute vengeance upon the heathen, and punishments upon the people; | To do vengeance among nations, Punishments among the peoples. |
| 149:8 | To bind their kings with chains, and their nobles with fetters of iron; | To bind their kings with chains, And their honoured ones with fetters of iron, |
| 149:9 | To execute upon them the judgment written: this honour have all his saints. Praise ye the LORD. | To do among them the judgment written, An honour it `is' for all his saints. Praise ye Jah! |
