`And it hath become a charge to you, until the fourteenth day of this month, and the whole assembly of the company of Israel have slaughtered it between the evenings; |
| 12:7 | And they shall take of the blood, and strike it on the two side posts and on the upper door post of the houses, wherein they shall eat it. | and they have taken of the blood, and have put on the two side-posts, and on the lintel over the houses in which they eat it. |

| 12:13 | And the blood shall be to you for a token upon the houses where ye are: and when I see the blood, I will pass over you, and the plague shall not be upon you |
`And the blood hath become a sign for you on the houses where ye `are', and I have seen the blood, and have passed over you, and a plague is not on you for destruction in My smiting in the land of Egypt. |
