OVERTURN', v.t.

1. To overset; to turn or throw from a basis or foundation; as, to overturn a carriage or a building.

2. To subvert; to ruin; to destroy.

3. To overpower; to conquer.

O'VERTURN, n. State of being overturned or subverted; overthrow.
