And he made the middle bar to shoot through the boards from the one end to the other.

And I will shoot three arrows on the side thereof, as though I shot at a mark.

And he said unto his lad, Run, find out now the arrows which I shoot. And as the lad ran, he shot an arrow beyond him.

And if so be that the king's wrath arise, and he say unto thee, Wherefore approached ye so nigh unto the city when ye did fight? knew ye not that they would shoot from the wall?

And he said, Open the window eastward. And he opened it. Then Elisha said, shoot. And he shot. And he said, The arrow of the LORD'S deliverance, and the arrow of deliverance from Syria: for thou shalt smite the Syrians in Aphek, till thou have consumed them.

But ye, O mountains of Israel, ye shall shoot forth your branches, and yield your fruit to my people of Israel; for they are at hand to come.

When they now shoot forth, ye see and know of your own selves that summer is now nigh at hand.
