And ye shall make no league with the inhabitants of this land; ye shall Throw down their altars: but ye have not obeyed my voice: why have ye done this?

And it came to pass the same night, that the LORD said unto him, Take thy father's young bullock, even the second bullock of seven years old, and Throw down the altar of Baal that thy father hath, and cut down the grove that is by it:

And they came and besieged him in Abel of Bethmaachah, and they cast up a bank against the city, and it stood in the trench: and all the people that were with Joab battered the wall, to Throw it down.

And he said, Throw her down. So they threw her down: and some of her blood was sprinkled on the wall, and on the horses: and he trode her under foot.

See, I have this day set thee over the nations and over the kingdoms, to root out, and to pull down, and to destroy, and to Throw down, to build, and to plant.

And it shall come to pass, that like as I have watched over them, to pluck up, and to break down, and to Throw down, and to destroy, and to afflict; so will I watch over them, to build, and to plant, saith the LORD.

And I will also give thee into their hand, and they shall Throw down thine eminent place, and shall break down thy high places: they shall strip thee also of thy clothes, and shall take thy fair jewels, and leave thee naked and bare.

And I will cut off the cities of thy land, and Throw down all thy strong holds:

Whereas Edom saith, We are impoverished, but we will return and build the desolate places; thus saith the LORD of hosts, They shall build, but I will Throw down; and they shall call them, The border of wickedness, and, The people against whom the LORD hath indignation for ever.
